A pair of rhinestone earrings worn at one time by Marilyn Monroe was auctioned recently, The pair was bought for $185,000, reports say. The jewellery was part of the Julien's Auctions offerings of Hollywood memorabilia at Beverly Hills, reports say.

The actor was believed to have worn these earrings at the 1955 premiere of the Hollywood film "The Rose Tattoo", reports say.
