Kiran Gems participates in the Mumbai Marathon

Leading diamond manufacturing company Kiran Gems participated in the charity initiative called the ‘Mumbai Marathon’, an event which attracts international participation of athletes and non-athletes to run for a social cause. Twenty-five members from Kiran participated including Mavji Patel-MD, Mr. Dinesh Lakhani-Director, Mr. Rajesh Lakhani- VP, Mr. Kalpesh Lakhani-VP and other managers and sub managerial employees.

Mr Rajesh Lakhani, VP- Kiran Gems, said “This is the first time we participated in this type of an outside event which supports noble causes and as well as involves team participation. It was a good feeling for us.” Mr Dinesh Lakhani added, “This gave us one more opportunity to stand for a cause and we are happy and proud of it.”

Kiran Gems has its Corporate Social Responsibility activities integrated at two levels, namely- “business activities” pertaining to fair, safe working environments and support for family related personal and just issues; the second being “Philanthropy” in which the company supports various causes. Recently the company donated 10 million USD towards building a super specialty Kiran hospital in Surat.
