Forevermark collaborates with Tarun Tahiliani's Bridal Couture Exposition

De Beers’ Forevermark diamond brand, has once again collaborated with fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani, to share the platform of his Bridal Couture Exposition, bringing in the extravaganza of weddings, diamonds and haute couture. This is the third time, the diamond brand has joined hands for the Bridal Couture Exposition.

Renowned for his expertise in bridal couture, working with someone like Tarun gives us an opportunity to be part of every bride’s special day. The fact that less than 1 percent of the world’s diamonds are eligible to be Forevermark and be inscribed with the Forevermark icon and unique identification number assures every bride that the diamonds that adorn her on her special day are beautiful, rare and responsibly sourced”, said Binita Cooper, Managing Director of Forevermark.

The Forevermark jewellery showcased at the Exposition were made by leading jewellers in India, designed in the latest trends. This year the Exposition has been taken to additional venues including cities like Hyderabad and Kolkata, apart from the primary cities Delhi and Mumbai. Having being held in Delhi between 9th – 13th July, 2011, it travelled to Mumbai from 23rd – 25th July, 2011, ans is further on its way to Hyderabad from August 6-7, 2011, to finally clminate at Kolkata from August 20-21, 2011.

The Tarun Tahiliani Bridal Couture Exposition is a unique concept designed by Tarun Tahiliani as a novel way of showcasing Indian Bridal Couture in the finest of settings. This year the theme for the event is ‘Artisanal- Bringing the Craft to the Fore’- an entirely novel blend of Indian finery with a layered western construct.
