The Swatch Group is looking at a possible investment in a diamond mine, as reports suggest. The intent is to ensure itself a supply of diamonds as and when required in the designed quality and quantity, reports say.

The company believes there has been an increase in the demand for watches studded with diamonds. So far, it has not identified any prospective diamond mines for the investment, reports add.
