D’Soft Infotech Pvt Ltd., has launched a software which creates an e-counter for purchasing jewellery. At the e-counter, a consumer is asked to select a pose on a touch screen, which they wish to be seen in with the jewellery. The consumer then selects the kind of jewellery items sought, be it rings, necklaces, on the touch screen, following which, the screen adapts the jewellery onto the selected poses and showcases options of jewellery in different photographs of the consumer.

This method allows consumers to view various options in design and budget, in the jewellery category of their choice. D’Soft Infotech Pvt Ltd., headquartered in Ahmedabad launched the e-counters at the recently held second edition of Kerala Gem and Jewellery show. The e-counters are programmed in English, Hindi and local languages, for operational convenience.
