"I’m delighted to join the Technology Committee as its first female member and humbled to lead the way for the many smart and ambitious women in the industry” said Elle Hill the renowned entrepreneur and recognised expert in the diamond, gemstone and jewellery industries. Hill launched her own award-winning international designer jewellery retail business, which she brought public with a $10 million IPO in under four years. “In my 28-year career, I’ve seen the power that new technology can have to drive innovation and business growth," said Hill."

Stephane, Technology Committee Chair said, “I was delighted, as Chair, when Elle accepted my invitation to join the CIBJO Technology Committee. The key challenge in our industry is education. As a whole, we must learn more about the many ways technology can add dollars to the bottom line. Businesses are not aware of all the technological tools available to them and how those tools contain costs and create opportunities.”
