Gem Diamonds discovers 161ct rough

Gem Diamonds has discovered a 161-carat rough stone; the stone is the first to cross 100ct this year.

The rough was found in Gem Diamonds' Letšeng mine in Lesotho.  The stone was a top quality, type IIa diamond.

The year 2018 has been quite remarkable for Gem Diamonds as it has unearther many a big size diamonds; last month it also discovered a 13.33 ct pink diamond.
