diamond world news service

Diamond grading for higher carats has traditionally been a time consuming and costly process for the traders who send in their stones to the labs overseas and further await the grading reports that are sent from international locations thereby adding to the time lines.

There has been a constant demand to make higher grading available within India. This emerges from the fact that such regional service would value add in managing costs and turnaround time. Mehul Shah, VP - Bharat Diamond Bourse echoes this need as an important step to make services being made more accessible, quicker and cost effective for the complete trading community in India.

HRD Antwerp is specially offering this service to cater to the regional demand and is strategically timed to align with the IIJS 2018 Show wherein traders can avail benefits and get their higher carat stones graded in India itself, without having the need to send them overseas. Post the Show; HRD would also be launching both the MScreen+ (The superfast automated melee screening service) and the new Colour pre-investigation service at their Bharat Diamond Bourse facility.
