Three Indian jewellery companies feature again in Deloitte’s “Global Powers of Luxury Goods 2017

Reports suggest that Gitanjali, Titan Company and P.C. Jewellers - jewellery companies from India are featured in the Top 100 listing in Deloitte’s report “Global Powers of Luxury Goods 2017”. Gitanjali occupied the No. 30 spot from No. 40 last year, while Titan was at No. 31 just a notch above its last year ranking of No. 32 and P.C. Jewellers stood at No. 44 as last year. The companies in the top 4 rankings were LVMH Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton; Canpagnie Franciere Richemont; The Estee Lauder Companies Inc; and Luxoticca Group SpA, and they were in the same ranks as of last year.

The Report identified that the 100 companies had sales revenue of US$ 212 billion in FY 2015. The Report identifies the 100 largest luxury goods companies globally, based on publicly available data for consolidated sales of luxury goods in FY2015 and ‘the key trends shaping the luxury market and provides a global economic outlook’, reports say.
