Alrosa appoints Elena Gangalo as Vice President

PJSC ALROSA, has appointed Elena Gangalo as the company Vice President. Elena Gangalo will supervise the company’s financial and economic policy and concentrate on the improvement of ALROSA Group’s operational efficiency, cost optimization for large-scale investment projects, and development of long-range planning programs. Ms Gangalo’s professional experience, including her work in government agencies, will boost ALROSA’s economic unit to raise the company’s profitability and strengthen its leading market position.

In 1993–2008, Elena Gangalo, Honored Economist of the Russian Federation, worked for government agencies and non-governmental organizations, including the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation (Minprirody of Russia), Department of Economy and Finance at the Minprirody of Russia, Federal Service on Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, Russian Federation at several senior positions. Elena Gangalo is a General Director of the Far Eastern Leopards autonomous non-profit organization.

By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, for labor achievements and many years of dedicated work, Ms. Gangalo was awarded the Order of Friendship, Honorary Diploma of the Government of the Russian Federation, and other awards. Class 2 Active State Advisor of the Russian Federation.
