The All India Gems & Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF) recently held its Annual Regional Meeting covering important market issues that needed reviewing. Solitaire Gemmological Laboratories (SGL)sponsored this event, and its directors Mr. Chirag Soni and Mrs. Shirin Bandukwalla shared knowledge through an international perspective on market threats and solutions to the ever-growing problem of synthetic diamonds.

At the event, SGL announced the launch of its CVD testing procedures, which will be incorporated into its operations in Kolkata, month end. “Sponsoring the event was a great opportunity for us to connect with major players in the industry and understand the current problems they face first hand. We are proactively altering our operations everyday in order to meet growing concerns of the market” said Mr.Soni.

The SGL team also announced plan to launch its 11th laboratory in Dubai on the 21st August 2014.
