Diamond Empowerment Fund’s (D.E.F) Diamonds in the Sky Las Vegas Gala will be hosting singer celebrity Chaka Khan as the main performer. The singer has been contributing in philanthropic ventures since 1999 when she established the Chaka Khan Foundation to assist women and children at risk through programmes and initiatives, reports say.

The D.E.F gala which is slated for May 29, at the Four Seasons Ballroom, Botswana President Seretse Khama Ian Khama and the Government of Botswana will be honoured with the Global Diamond Industry Achievement Award, celebrating the good contribution made by diamonds for diamond communities in the world.
