Hari Krishna Exports hosts Annual Sports Meet 2014

Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd., a leading entity in the gem and jewellery industry implements an Employee Professional and Personal Development programme to instil good cooperation amongst its team. Under this programme it recently held an Annual Sports Meets 2014, in Surat.

At the Meet, over 400 employees, were divided into 16 different teams from HK factories/offices at Campus, Hub, Complex, HK-Kisna, Bambawadi, The Capital - Mumbai, KISNA Jewelery - Surat and H K Designs –Seepz, with the winning team being The Campus Artists team. The event also engaged support teams for functions like stage announcements, F&B, score keeping, ground display and decoration, guest service, transportation, hardware team, computer operators, camera crew, ground management team,uniform coordinators and designing team. Professional experts were engaged as umpires, commentators, referees and Disc Jockey. The audience included the employees and their families.

The entire senior management including Mr. Savji Dholakia, Chairman, and Mr. Ghanshyam Dholakia, Managing Director, of Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. graced the occasion and encouraged the players.“We at Hari Krishna believe that our strength is in numbers, together we can achieve more! The Sports Meet which is an annual feature in our company plays a vital role in fostering the need for productive competitiveness, inter-personal relationship and the importance of Leadership and teamwork among employees, both on the field and off the field”, said Mr. Savji Dholakia. The successful teams were felicitated with cash rewards and trophies.

The company employs over 6,000 people across its units in Mumbai and Surat. It considers and encourages its diamond workers, engaged in manufacturing and planning, to be looked upon as diamond artists for their keen eye for design, creativity and technical ability; and as diamond engineers for their strong analytical and planning skills.
