A restaurant in Russia produced the drink, which was sold for almost $50,000 to an entrepreneur and loyal customer Andrey Melnikov. The drink, which was made from Hennessy V.S.O.P. contained three GIA-certified diamonds sized between 1-1.5 carats that were provided by the sponsor of the event, Italian company Crivelli.

The expensive cocktail was created to celebrate the opening of Moscow’s first-ever ice terrace at the Reka Moscow restaurant where 80 customers can sip on cocktails in a simulated ice palace. Twenty tons of ice was imported from remote Siberia in order to create the terrace
