New appointments were announced at the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA). Andrea Hansen is appointed president while Brandee Dallow of Julius Klein Group is president-elect, report say.

Hansen, of LuxeIntelligence, will fill in the shoes of Tryna Kochanek of Sterling Jewelers, who in turn is immediate past president now. Hansen mentioned that the focus would be on the theme of transformation, citing that the industry is ‘in a time of transition’, reports add.

In this phase of appointments, Kristie Nicolosi of Kingswood Company would continue in her position as WJA treasurer.

Also, many joined the group’s executive committee.

Three regional directors will serve at WJA including Desiree Hanson of Luxury Privé as U.S. regional director, Eastern; Janel Russell of Janel Russell Designs as U.S. regional director, Central; and Jenny O. Calleri of T-Bird Jewels as U.S. regional director, Western. Also, WJA welcomed some new members to its board, in addition, as reports suggest.
