Gubelin Academy announced its first course in Hong Kong

With over 150 years in the gemstone and jewellery industry and a Swiss heritage spanning six generations, the Gubelin Group has recently established the Gubelin Academy, a new business unit dedicated to bring Gubelin's expertise and experience to the trade and the public. The Gubelin Academy was launched during the September Jewelry fair in Hong Kong. Gubelin Academy announced its first courses in Hong Kong which are slated between 11 and 12 November.

It will be a fast-track two-day introduction to emeralds, rubies and sapphires will comprise intensive classes with an experienced tutor. Introducing the gemmological, practical and historical basics of the ‘Big Three’: learn their key valuation criteria, as well as what they are, why they are so valuable, and how to assess this value. The course is directed at those keen on learning more on the main coloured gemstones.
