Israel is gearing to hold the summer edition of the U.S. & International Diamond Week, which is likely to be the largest ever diamond sales festival organized in Israel, with over 450 registered buyers confirmed. The event is going to unfold in less than two weeks and carries a pre-event optimism by industry leaders and principals of the country's top diamond exporting firms that it will be the most exciting diamond sales event ever held in the country.

The platform originally conceived by IDE's president, Yair Sahar and Reuven Kaufman, the president of the Diamond Dealers Club of New York. Kaufman noted that it has become popular over its various editions and carries promising growth in the future. The Week has been remarked to be ' grand networking opportunity', 'a chance to view such a rich variety and quantity of polished diamond on one secure and inviting location', by some of the participants.
