Ernie Blom, president of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB), congratulated Avi Paz on his appointment as chairman of the World Diamond Council (WDC) on behalf of the WFDB and its members. “We wish Avi well in this new position and assure him of our continued support,” Ernie Blom said. “The WFDB looks forward to maintain the close relationship we have with the WDC.”

Paz, an honarary life president of the WFDB, takes over from Eli Izhakoff who stepped down as WDC president after having served the organisation for 11 years.
