Guinness World Records recognizes 637 ct. Mouawad L’Incomparable Diamond Necklace as world’s most valuable

The 637 ct. Mouawad L’Incomparable Diamond Necklace was recently recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world’s most valuable necklace, with a price estimated at $55 million, reports say. The neckpiece features 229.52 cts. of white diamonds, with the spotlight being the 407.48 ct. Incomparable yellow diamond, a modified shield step-cut and is considered the world’s largest internally flawless diamond, reports add. The stone originated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo over 30 years, discovered from a discarded pile of kimberlite, by a little girl. The neckpiece was showcased at the Doha Jewellery & Watch Exhibition in February.

With this recognition, Mouawad has achieved four Guinness World Records, reports suggest.
