Shrenuj & Co.’s diamond sales up 18% in Q4

Group net sales rise by 11%

Diamond and jewellery manufacturing company Shrenuj & Co. Ltd. reported an increase in its group net sales – by 11 percent (on y-o-y basis) to $147 million in the three months ending March 31, 2012, reports say.

The company saw a 3 percent rise in its net profits to $2.4 million. Sales at its diamond unit rose 18 percent to $126.9 million. Its studded jewellery unit reported a 9 percent drop in sales to $26.3 million. The company’s inter-segment revenue were up 50 percent to $6.2 million.

The company’s group expenses increased 8 percent to $137.4 million. Other income declined 80 percent to $251,310.
