First Indo-Russian Diamond Summit to be held in Surat

The platform is conceived by GJEPC and Moscow Diamond Bourse

To create stronger ties between the Indian and Russian gem and jewellery industry, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the apex body of the Indian gem and jewellery industry has joined hands with the Moscow Diamond Bourse (MDB) to host the fist of a kind professional meeting between Indian diamond manufacturers and Russian buyers in Surat from 3 to 5th April 2012.

The Indian diamond manufacturers will offer a full assortment of polished diamonds of all cuts, sizes and characteristics. Around 20 Russian jewelry companies across 12 Russian regions are expected to participate.

The summit program includes meetings, diamond viewings, visits to polishing plants and round table discussion with the participation of the GJEPC Chairman Rajiv Jain and MDB President Alex popov. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit Jaipur’s gemstone industry.
