Royal Asscher steps foot in Asian market

Launches flagship store in Japan

Royal Asscher recently launched its first retail outlet in Japan, and with it taken its first steps into the Asian market. Located in Tokyo’s luxury shopping area of Ginza, the store is a neighbour to brands like LVMH, Bulgari and Chanel. Its stands unique with modern interiors in white contrasting with Royal Asscher’s signature blue and offers Royal Asscher diamond engagement rings and jewellery.

The store is a collaborative effort between the Asscher family and its Japanese partner Nagahori Corporation.

Edward Asscher, President of the company said at the store’s opening, “The Asscher family is proud to open its first flagship store in Tokyo. It shows our total commitment to Japan in these difficult times. We have great respect for the solidarity and vigor the Japanese people have shown to rebuild and overcome their predicament”.

A Royal Asscher diamond tiara created with 10 carats of diamonds set in platinum and worth US$385,000, was crafted to highlight the store launch. The tiara will be loaned to brides upon purchase of a Royal Asscher engagement ring in the Ginza store.

The company renowned for its Asscher’s unique heritage and history along in creating beautiful, coveted jewelry plans to forward its Asian expansion with a store in People’s Republic of China in some time.
