London Diamond Bourse elects new president

The London Diamond Bourse (LDB) announced reforming the LDB board, or Council of Management, following the death of its president Freddy Hager. In the new Council, : Harry Levy is appointed as President, Menachem E. Prager as Vice President, David Joffe as Treasurer and Cyril Ruttenberg as Executive Officer.

Mr. Levy, served several terms as vice president under Mr. Hager and said he was sad but honoured to replace Mr. Hager until the next elections at the bourse. New elections for the LDB's Council of Management are to take place in the spring of 2012. World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) President Avi Paz mentioned that "Harry also succeeds Freddy on the WFDB's Executive Committee and we wish him best of luck in his new responsibilities.”

Members of the Council of Management include - Anita Bruce, Paul Koppelman, Lewis Malka, Wolf Rabstein, Daniel Seller and, David Weinberg.
