Christie's has selected to offer a rare pair of ear-pendants, which it estimates would generate upto $10 million in its forthcoming Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels Spring Sale to be held on May 31, 2011. Recognised as Imperial Cushions, the pair features 23.49 carat and 23.11 carat D Potentially Flawless Golconda Type IIa diamond ear-pendants.

The cushion shaped cutting style renders a ‘perfect sync’ to this pair.

The auction house is hosting a preview of its auction lots at various locations in New York, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Bangkok, Geneva, Taipei and Hong Kong and through April and May. The auction is scheduled to be held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center.
