Hong Kong show witnesses iincreased Indian buyers

EXHIBITORS at the Hong Kong Jewellery Show�s Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) venue reported a great many Indian buyers today and that larger diamonds were moving well. They also reported queried from China and the US � the predominant ones being from China. Overall, they reported that visitor traffic had been better yesterday.

Some Indian exhibitors said they were happy with buyer response at the show. Shmuel Schnitzer, past president of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) assessed the show so far as being �so-so�. The Asia World Expo venue of the show, however, has been very quiet.
