'Watch World International Awards’ unfolds in Delhi

A gathering of Chief Minister of New Delhi Sheila Dixit ( in picture), CEOs from global top luxury watch brands, representatives from key luxury and gem and jewellery industries was seen on the occasion of the first ‘Watch World International Awards’ in New Delhi. The awards are dedicated to acknowledging and awarding astonishing works in the luxury watch making industry. The evening saw personalities like Mr. Ajay Pahuja Director, AU Finja Jewels, fashion designer Ritu Beri, amongst others. Bhandar Brother rendered Sufi music.

The awards are sponsored by AU FINJA JEWELS.

The awards were categorised into 11 for the product category, six for marketing category, and a single mega award. Kamal Bharucha from Montblanc received the Best Concept Watch award at the hands of Ajay Pahuja, Director AU Finja Jewels, who also presented the Best Limited Edition watch award to S.M. Chainani, Ulysse Nardin, Swiss Promotion.

Mr. Ajay said, “It was a great honor that being a jewellery company and the main sponsor of a dignified watch world exhibition is shows that we are not biased”. He added, “I am sure that this event is going to be a bench mark for watch industry in near future.”

The event continued with an exhibit of the exemplary works in watches and bangles. Upon receiving tremendous industry support upon its first showcasing, the platform is on its way into becoming an annual event for the watch industry.
