Gold bar card vending machine launches in Korea

diamond world news service

The GOLD RUSH Kiosk is a 42-inch gold bar card vending machine offering consumers to purchase gold bar cards of their preferred weight and size. This Korean innovation has come at a time when investing in gold is growing due to the unstable global economy.

The machine offers six varieties of gold bars from 0.5g, 1g, 2g, 3g, 5g, 10g, whose prices would be relevant to the prevailing global gold prices at the time of purchase. A consumer can purchase the gold bars at all times where the GOLD RUSH kiosk is installed and would be buying at the lowest possible gold price.

The gold bar card can also serve as a gift inscribed with messages, and can send the gift via the two-day (from the date of purchase from the kiosk ) shipping facility. The 42-inch size is also the world’s largest screen size for an LCD machine. The machine has been installed so far in jewellery stores and large-scale shopping malls in Korea. It was showcased at the JCK Las Vegas show 2010, making its debut for the global audience.
