34th World Diamond Council meeting slated for July

Moscow has been decided as the venue to host the 34th edition of the World Diamond Council meeting, reports say. The World Diamond Council meeting is usually held once every two years, and is a forum for the World Federation of the Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA).

The 34th meeting is slated to be held between July 11-13, and is intended to evolve ways to improve or solve the issues faced by the diamond business. It will be hosted by the Diamond Chamber of Russia and the Russian Diamond Manufacturers Association, reports add. .

The agenda of this meeting includes WFDB and IDMA working sessions, joint WFDB/IDMA Plenary sessions also to be attended by Russian and foreign representatives from the diamond business, scientific and research organisations and non-governmental organizations, reports add.
