The Gemological Institute of America’s (GIA) Career Search Engine currently displays over 300 active gem and jewellery industry positions available. The GIA states that its Career Search Engine service is the largest free online employment database in the gem and jewllery industry. At present the positions have been advertised by the likes of Damiani, Blue Nile, Inc., Stuller, Inc. and Tiffany & Co and more. The Institute’s Jewelry Career Fair recently held in Carlsbad brought in a number of new job options on the Career Search Engine

According to Kathryn Kimmel, GIA vice president and Chief Marketing Officer. “We had a phenomenal showing of 30 companies who recruited at Career Fair, offering a wide array of career opportunities. For job seekers who were unable to attend Career Fair, some of those positions offered at the event and more are available for application on the Career Search Engine.”

Since its inception in 2000, the Career Search Engine has posted over 7,000 industry worldwide jobs from entry-level to executive titles and more. Employers post open job notices on the GIA Career Search Engine which can be referred to by job seekers.
