Avi Paz is elected as President of IDE for the third time

He is also the current President of WFDB

In the recent elections held for the presidential post of the Israeli Diamond Exchange (IDE), Avi Paz has been elected for the third term, gathering 73 percent of votes. Paz expressed his views that the diamond industry is going through a rough phase but with the help of the Israeli government, the industry could hold its central stance in the global diamond market.

At present Paz is scheduled to attend a seminar in Hong Kong conducted by the WFDB for presidents of diamond exchanges from the Far-East including India, Bangkok, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore. Paz is also the president of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB).
