Antwerp Diamond Bank (ADB) is set to bid adieu to Paul Goris, its current CEO and chairman, following his retirement from April 15, 2009. Pierre De Bosscher will succeed Goris and work on ADB’s executive committee with Theo Strous and Guy Snoeks.

This time is also significant for ADB as it completed its 75th anniversary on January 26, 2009. The ADB had been established as a financial outfit known as Comptoir Diamantaire Anversois set up in 1934, to finance Belgium's diamond industry. With the change in banking regulations in the mid thirties, the Comptoir was given the status of a bank, known popularly as Antwerp Diamond Bank.
