Thailand is participating at the 2008 JCK Las Vegas Show, with well outlined deliverables to make the most from networking at the show. It will be represented by a strong team of 68 exhibitors of jewel houses. The country is looking at this platform to present its native expertise of design, craftsmanship juxtaposed against the demand of the global diamond and gem jewellery industry. The Thai Pavilion within the Main Hall will showcase collections of avant-garde, couture jewellery categories, especially popular in the US. High quality cut Thai gemstones will also be showcased. The Lido Ballroom, a section dedicated to fine jewelry at the JCK show, would exhibit seven Thai jewel houses presenting fine jewellery with diamond, precious stones, gold and silver, in exquisite classic and new designs, parts and accessories.

An invitation-only networking lunch and product preview was planned on June 1 at the Zeno Ballroom, Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino, where 200 international guests were invited to network with nearly 100 couture Thai jewellery designers and manufacturers, in a traditional Thai ambiance.

Thailand’s true expertise is well presented at the bi-annual Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair (BGJF), which has been executed over two decades. The BGJF booth has been set up at the Thai Pavilion of the JCK Las Vegas, to promote an industry understanding of the leverage one can gain by attending it.
