Mouawad’s L’Incomparable necklace is a stunning piece of jewelry that was unveiled in 2013. It is considered one of the most expensive necklaces in the world, with a value estimated at $55 million.

The centerpiece of the necklace is a large, yellow-brown diamond that weighs 407.48 carats. This diamond is known as the Incomparable Diamond and is one of the largest diamonds ever discovered. It was found in the Mbuji-Mayi district of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the 1980s. The diamond was originally 890 carats, but it was later cut down to its current size.

The Incomparable Diamond is surrounded by 91 white diamonds, including 35 pear-shaped diamonds and 56 brilliant-cut diamonds. The necklace is made of 18-karat gold and took over 4 years to design and create.

Luxury Launches reported that Nita Ambani was the buyer of the necklace. However, Nita did not keep the necklace for herself and instead gifted it to her daughter-in-law, Shloka Mehta, when she married her son Akash Ambani in March 2019.
