3^rd December saw Bharat Diamond Bourse come alive with an exciting Friendly Box Cricket Match played at Bharat Diamond Bourse complex. The participants were Owners, Directors & family of members within the Bourse who showed their passion for sports and participated with total enthusiasm.

The Box Cricket tournament saw 48 participants members and each were divided into 6 teams of 8 players. The team were divided in two groups. Each team played 2 matches The teams were categorized as PEAR, OVAL, PRINCESS, EMERALD, ROUND, CUSHION all depicting the cut of a Diamond.

The final match took place between team Round and team Princess where team Round with all their might clinched the trophy by a 6 wicket win over team Princess. Finally proving Rounds are all time Cut, the tournament was also won by the Round Team.

Mehul Shah, Vice President, Bharat Diamond Bourse opined, “All the matches were thrilling and brought back memories for most of the Owners / Directors & Family. They say Cricket is more like a religion in India and the passion and determination to win could be seen in all the team members”. The tournament was indeed a fitting tribute to the many sporting events and programs that BDB organises regularly within the arena of the bourse.
