The International Gemological Institute- IGI, has launched the IGI School of Gemology at its newly relocated facility at Thrissur. Students and industry players in Kerala may now avail of IGI's international curriculum from its Thrissur facility. 

Known as one of the world's premier gem and jewellery educational institutions, IGI's educational wing- the IGI School of Gemology has been training students and professionals from across the globe in gemological studies. With its exceptional course work and training sessions, IGI has been adding to the skilled work force in the industry worldwide. Thrissur, being the hub of manufacturing and retail segments in Kerala, can now remain adept with the constant changes that are an integral part of the ever- evolving industry.
