Fawaz Gruosi’s atelier in Geneva unveils a mesmerising heart-cut ruby high jewellery ring for Valentine’s Day

diamond world news service

FAWAZ GRUOSI the contemporary high-jewellery designer, combined the archetypal shape of love that is the heart with the passionate feeling emanating from an exceptional unheated ruby into a tri-dimensional ring. A diamond-studded rope of rose gold hugs the finger and then rises from the top of the shank to design a generous heart shape protruding diagonally and set with a flaming-red heart-cut ruby. The ring is a veritable sculpture entirely crafted in gold by FAWAZ GRUOSI’s atelier in Geneva. The alluring bi-dimensional gouache drawing was translated into a tri-dimensional wax model to tackle all technical challenges before being trusted into the expert hands of a master jeweller who crafted a miniature sculpture and a masterpiece of jewellery making.

Is there a more universal symbol of love than a heart? Is there a stone that declares passion more openly than a ruby? This FAWAZ GRUOSI heart-shaped ruby high jewellery ring is the ultimate declaration of love. Other delightful Valentine’s Day jewels can be chosen from the exquisite Ribbon and Pétale collections.
