Gitanjali Gems Ltd. will be undertaking development activities across SEZs in India, though a special purpose vehicle (SPV), namely West Bengal SEZ Ltd. The SPV is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gitanjali and will undertake establishing and operating those units that produce, distribute, import and export multiple varieties of goods. Clearances from Central and state governments have been acquired.
