Sarin Technologies has acquired a 100 percent stake in Galatea, and is now the owner of its new technology which evaluates internal features of diamonds. The deal was worth $10.77 million. Galatea is an Israeli company that has developed a one-of-its-kind technology, which allows automated evaluation of the internal features of rough and polished diamonds. The new technology intends to achieve a better yield of rough diamonds. The commercialisation of this technology will support Sarin’s efforts to expand its product range, boost its sales and increase revenue.
