Blue Nile notes 27% increase in sales

Blue Nile has announced its results for the third-quarter of 2007. It noted an increase in sales by 27% to value at $67.4 million, as compared to $53.2 million sales of the third quarter of 2006. The net profit surged by 63% to value at $2.97 million, while net profit margin was 4.41%. Blue Nile’s international sales from its Canada and UK websites, recorded a 104.5% year-over-year growth totaling to $4.5 million in the said period.

Underlining its performance during the first nine months of 2007, Blue Nile witnessed a 36% increase in net profits to $9.91 million, while net sales grew by 29% to $207.35 million in the year-to-date period.
