Louis Vuitton to come to Bangalore

Luanch slated for 2008, with plans for more stores across India

Louis Vuitton’s much awaited entry into India, is slated for early-2008, when it opens its first outlet in Bangalore. It will progress to further open its stores in Mumbai and New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad. The new store, to be part financed by business baron Vijay Mallya, will be located at a new shopping mall housing exclusive luxury brands like Gucci, Fendi, Mont Blanc, Van Cleef & Arpels. The mall is expected to cost approximately $76 million.
