Vaaldiam's biggest discovery at Duas Barras

A 15.68 carat diamond has been recovered at the Duas Barras mine in Brazil reported Vaaldiam Resources, making it the largest stone to be discovered at the mine, which has reported average discoveries of 0.37 carat. In January, Vaaldiam has sold 13,603 carats of diamonds for a gross revenue of $2,206,280 at $162.19 per carat, from the mentioned mine.

Prior to the 15.68 carat recovery, the largest stone was a 8.68 carat diamond discovered some time back. The 15.68 carat stone is a light yellow octahedral.
