Sotheby's Hong Kong auction to sell magnificent gemstones and jewels

The auction that is being held today will have an array of priceless jewels including a 88.22-carat flawless D color type IIa oval brilliant diamond with an estimate of $11.2 - 12.7 million

The spring Magnificent Jewels and Jadeite auction will deliver a wealth of colour and design through rare gems and intricately crafted jewels.

Unique signed pieces by legendary maisons, such as an exquisite emerald and diamond necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels features alongside a specially curated collection of coloured gemstones and coloured diamonds of exceptional quality. A notable 88.22 carat, D colour, Flawless, Type IIa diamond takes centre stage, the quintessence of nature’s greatest creations.

The auction, which will take place at Hall 5 of Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre will also display jewels crafted in jade like jadeite plaque pendant, a lovely jadeite butterfly brooch from Boucheron as well as a stunning diamond necklace from Harry Winston among others.
