HONG KONG SHOW AT AWE STAYS HOT (LITERALLY!) LEAVING PARTICIPANTS HIGH AND DRY

Exhibitors and Buyers frustrated in Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair as Air Conditioning seems to be non-operational up until now.

One of the world’s biggest and the most reputed jewellery shows - September Hong Kong Show - seems to have cast a “dry” spell on exhibitors and buyers – the air conditioning hasn’t been working from day 1 up until now and this has angered participants across the board.

Exhibitors and buyers were heard complaining about the situation – it becomes extremely difficult to do business when the basic amenities are not in place and air conditioning is definitely basic in such a scenario.

The organizers arranged for air coolers to temporarily soften the blow, but how can air coolers be possibly sufficient to cover a show of this magnitude? Moreover, the organizers promised that the situation will be well under control on Day 3 (today) and that the ACs would start functioning; the promise certainly hasn’t been kept and we heard that today has been the hottest and the worst.

We seriously hope that the remaining days are not as bad and the organizers would look into this matter immediately!
