Tahera suspends mining at Jericho

According to a Reuters report, Tahera Diamond Corp intends to suspend mining at its Jericho diamond mine in northern Canada within the coming two weeks. The curb has been influenced by the need to save cash and fuel at the mine, while Tahera is being restructured.

Tahera is facing some financial troubles as its financing plans feel though last week and had to get creditor protection. As of now post suspension, Tahera will continue ore processing and diamond recovery for about two months until high grade ore stockpiles run out. The company also informed that it will aim for continuing operations at the mine, but after an assessment.
