Sarin Technologies launches products related to 'Customer Confidence' at the JCK Las Vegas show

Looking ahead to the JCK Las Vegas show next month, Sarin Technologies, a world leader in supplying technological tools to the diamond industry, is focusing its efforts on Consumer Confidence issues. Sarin has developed a range of products which completely address the issues raised by retailers and consumers.

“Not only do customers increasingly want to be assured that the stones in the jewelry they are buying are not conflict diamonds, but they want to know that the gems are precisely what they are claimed to be,” said Udi Lederer, Sarin’s VP Marketing. “Retailers are being asked to provide them with that assurance, and for that reason Sarin has produced portable and easy-to-use equipment that give consumers rapid answers to issues such as cut quality and color grade.”

These machines include DiaScan™ S+, Sarin’s portable diamond cut quality and grading machine enabling today’s jewelry retailer to provide in-store and on-the-counter tools for verifying diamond cut quality using the leading gem labs’ latest grading standards. Then there is the DC3000™, a diamond colorimeter for color grading loose and mounted diamonds. The third consumer confidence-related product is the DiaScribe™ inscription package, a laser inscription tool that meets security, branding, and personalization needs by giving the user the ability to inscribe almost any text or logo on the girdle of the stone.

These systems help retailers better communicate the properties of diamonds with their clients, thus enabling jewelry consumers to buy with more confidence and trust. And, ultimately, it is trust that builds customer loyalty.

“Our plan this year is to mark our commitment to resolving jewelry consumer confidence issues related to diamond quality on the jewelry retailer’s sales counter,” Lederer said.

“We are well-equipped to tackle this vital task thanks to the machines we’ve developed. As Sarin has done in every area it is involved, we have employed sophisticated technology to provide usable solutions to challenges faced by the industry.”
