Tiffany & Co. is coming together with Swiss watchmaker Patek Philippe to launch the first Patek Philippe watch salon in the United States, at Tiffany's New York flagship store. The 3,000-sq-ft salon will be operational by April this year.

The salon will be an all watch salon showcasing all current models, and a shopping experience there would encompass an extensive library, individual customer consultation areas, and a studio for on-site repairs.

This is not the first time Tiffany and Patek have teamed up. Their first agreement in 1851, was signed between their founders Antoine Norbert de Patek and Charles Lewis Tiffany. With its new York salon, Patek Philippe will add to its four existing salons in Geneva, London, Paris and Shanghai.
