Hari Krishna organizes 10K Marathon- Kisna Monsoon Run

Hari Krishna Group organised a 10K Marathon- Kisna Monsoon Run, an event that doubled both as a sporting event and to support a social cause. The event raised Rs. 5, 00,000 to donate as charity for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The race was flagged off at The Capital, BKC at 6 am with a participation of 500 individuals on 21st August, 2016. Medical arrangements were made along the route and the runners were sufficiently hydrated at the various water stations. The eventful morning concluded with an awards ceremony and a spirit of sportsmanship.

Mr. Ghanshyam Dholakia the Managing Director of Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. said, “This is the 1st time we have organised a 10K marathon and I’m overwhelmed with the response we have received. It has been an incredible event and a great run for us. Every participant displayed their sportsmanship and ran for a cause. Our aim is to increase the contribution we make to help the society as this is a wonderful platform for fundraising.” MSDAA (Mumbai Suburban District Athletic Association) helped make this event a success and the marathon was directed by the renowned coach Nitin D’Souza.
