Dominion announces reserve and resource at Diavik

The proven and probable reserves stood at 52.8 million carats

Dominion Diamond Corporation announced an update on the reserve and resource at its Diavik Diamond Mine as at December 31, 2015. The values shown are on a 100% basis of the Diavik Diamond Mine.

The company noted that the proven and probable reserves stood at 52.8 million carats in the said period, declining 500,000 annually. Of this, the reserves in the underground mines were at 42.6 million carats, while those at open-pit mines were of 10 million carats, and stickpile amounted to 0.3 million carats.
