Voylla appoints heads of offline retail channel and finance

To support its expansion plans, fashion jewellery brand Voylla is intending to increase its talent strength. It has already appointed Tapan Roychoudhury as head of offline retail channel and Prashant Sharma, as head of finance, reports say. The company intends to employ 300 professionals mainly in the mid-level roles across divisions, by the end of the current financial year, reports add. With its current base of 180 employees including graduates from leading educational institutes, it is looking to add another 75 graduates from the institutes by end of next year, as per reports.

Prashant Sharma holds an experience as a former finance director of Bata Zambia, while Roychoudhury worked as head of retail operations at Sahara Worldwide Ltd. previously.

Voylla has in October raised Rs 98 crore (USD 15 million) from Peepul Capital. Its operations in offline reach to cities of Bangalore, Pune and Nagpur in shop-in-shop format, with plans to expand with another 100 outlets.
