Dubai International Jewellery Week begins at DWTC

On the 20th anniversary of Dubai International Jewellery Week, the four-day extravaganza began on a high note with much fanfare at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event, which is going to be held from December 9 to December 12, features collections from over 300 exhibitors from 25 countries. 

This time the atmosphere is more festive as the week also marks the twentieth anniversary of the show. This time around 140,000 jewellery pieces from around the world and 50,000 of these pieces will be featured for the first time in Dubai. Precious stones, diamonds, pearls and watches are just some of the things that will make the visitors happy about shopping. 

As Trixie LohMirmand, senior vice-president, Exhibitions & Events Management, Dubai World Trade Centre, says that he was not only excited but also hoping to achieve super success with the latest designs coming from local as well as international designers.
